Lidia – 2nd Place Queen 2016

Lidia Pleiada

NEW YORK (USA)/ (RUSSIA) Originally from Volgograd, Russia, Lidia was born into a family of dancers. Her mother and father were the choreographers of the prestigious Russian Folklore Group, Volga. Lidia began dancing at the age of 3.  From 2000 through 2005, she was a member of her mother’s dance group, Style. In 2006 Lidia took her first belly dance class. She learned the basics with her first teacher, Kalina Glazunova. She became a member of her teacher’s dance group, the Silver nights, for about a year. From 2007 through 2009 Lidia danced at Corona, a famous Arabic restaurant in Moscow.   In 2010 she moved to the US.  She leads Galaxy Entertainment of New York. Recent awards: 1st Place U.S. Belly Dance Queen 2014; 1st Place, NYCairo Raks 2014  & 2016.
