2021 Rising Star Second Place Online Competition
My name is Nadine Ben Alaya, I’m 27 years old, I am Tunisian and I am living in France for now
four years.
I am before all a Middle East music and Belly Dance lover. I have been watching dancers and
dancing since my very young age.
When I leaved the pandemic situation of Covid-19, I had decided to professionally switch to my
one and only favorite thing in this life which is belly dancing.

I am formed mainly through autodidaxy but I am always tented to check on known dancers
techniques, so I am taking course at Paris within and advanced level team, I am taking online
courses from Raqs Online and Drummatic belly dance etc …
Last year I participated to 3 Galas at France. One of them was within the festival « L’Art de la
Rue » and this was really a particular experience !
I do love belly dancing and I’ll keep belly dancing as long as my body allows it.
However, I have a dream to make Middle Eastern and North African countries love it, teach it
everywhere and respect it.
Finally, all I can say about me is : « I see a dance world in this world »
