Nia – 3rd Place Rising Star 2018

Second Place Rising Star Nia CALIFORNIA (USA) Nia is a multicultural dance artist. Her training ranges from Ballet to Afro-Cuban. She became a principal dancer for Raiz Brazil Dance Company of Los Angeles. She won the title of Princess of the Drums for Sambala Samba School. Nia has performed Samba in the much televised Tournament of Roses Parade of Pasadena. She has opened of Aretha Franklin and other celebrity events. In recent years, she began to develop an interest in Bellydance. She is currently a member of Latin Oasis Bellydance Troupe and continues Ballet and other styles of dance training.
