Pierre Haddad is an internationally-acclaimed dance artist and master instructor, – has been studying Middle Eastern performing arts for over 35 years. His dance training began at the Georgette Gebara where he studied Classical Ballet. In the years following, he performed Dabkeh on international stages with super stars Fairouz, Sabah, Majida el Roumi, Salwa el Atrib, Romeo Lahoud, and more. Later, he performed with the known Nadia Gamal and was part of her dance troupe. Through these experiences, he became well known for his dance and choreographies that preserve the classical raqs sharqi style of the Golden Era and reflect the influence of Nadia Gamal.
In Egypt, he is a respected Master Instructor and Judge in the prestigious Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival.
As an instructor, he is known for his contagious charisma, incomparable style, and clear teaching methods. He knows how to create a challenging, but accessible environment for dancers to feel confident, and always works to bring forth his students’ own unique expressions.
